The City of Fall River, in coordination with the Department of Community Maintenance invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Window & Exterior Vestibule Replacement at the Fall River Fire Museum in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc. and dated April 10, 2025. Estimated project cost: $175,000 (including all 3 Add-Alt. Scopes of Work) Scope of work includes but is not limited to: The removal of the existing windows & existing opening infill constructions, historic replacement window installation and associated interior trim-out & repairs. Rebuilding of existing exterior Entrance Vestibule to an historically accurate replica of the same. Envelopes must be clearly marked: BID IFB #25-32. Written questions, submitted via Email to Paul Rico (PRico@starckarchitects.com), must be submitted by Tuesday, May 6, 2025 by Noon. Responses to questions will be provided to all bidders. A minimum combined MBE/WBE participation of 5% of the overall construction cost has been Window & Ext. Vestibule Replacement at the Fall River Fire Museum All bids must include 3 copies, 1 original and 1 flash drive and be accompanied by a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of bid in the form of cash, certified check, bank treasurer's or cashier's check, or a bid bond from a responsible surety company licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts. A payment bond in the amount of 50% of the bid will be required by the successful bidder. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any and all bids when doing so is deemed in the best interest of the City of Fall River.
