SCOPE OF WORK: The work covered in this contract consists of furnishing all labor, expertise, equipment, materials, facilities, transportation, and appliances necessary to perform operations in connection with the work described in paragraph 3. Summary of Work. It is the intent of the government for the contractor to provide a complete and useable system. Any relevant details required for a complete system that are omitted in the contract plans and specifications will be provided by the Contractor at no cost to the government. 3. SUMMARY OF WORK: This is an all-inclusive project to remove the existing walk-in refrigerator and a new enlarged walk-in combination refrigerator and freezer. The new freezer is access through the refrigerator. The new combination unit must be stainless steel structured units, with new doors/reinforced thresholds, and all support systems. This will include all new line- sets from the units to the compressors, newcompressors/condensers with racks. Electrical requirements consist of replacing all wiring circuits and switches associated with the walk-in boxes, replace circuits to evaporators and defrost controls. 3.1 Remediate mold within the existing walk-in refrigerator. 3.2 Remove the existing walk-in refrigerator, refrigeration system, condensing units, and electrical service back to panel 1K1. Condensing unit is in basement mechanical room. 3.3 Remove the existing floor drawing in B107D, cap the sanitary sewer line in the pipe basement and patch the concrete floor. 3.4 Remove the existing door in the west wall of B107D and infill using metal studs and 3/4 " melamine covered plywood panels. 3.5 Submit shop drawings for the new combination refrigerator and freezer shall be provided to the COR, building for approval and prior to commencing any new work. 3.6 Remove existing flooring in B107D down to concrete; clean and prepare floors and walls prior to the installation of the new walk-in units. 3.7 Install new electrical service from panel 1K1 to provide power to the new refrigeration condensers and racks. Panel CP-2 is an alternate panel if additional circuit break spaces are required. 3.8 Install new Stainless walk-in boxes with insulated walls. 3.9 Install new refrigeration systems for the walk-in refrigerator : A will be conducted on Wednesday 28 May 2025 at 11:00 AM CST.
