FENCE REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS SCOPE OF WORK – The requirement for chain link fence replacement at variouslocations to be furnished by the Contractor will be on an “open-ended, as-needed” basis as called for in these specifications at the applicable unit price bid during the contract period and in such numbers as may be required by the State. The State shall notify the Contractor as to the date work must commence on each repair work phase. The State shall notify the Contractor only after a sufficient amount of work has been generated. The Contractor shall be given fourteen (14) calendar days to commence work after the State’s notification. All work for each repair work phase shall be completed within the working days designated by the approved work schedule. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in HIePRO no later than August 26, 2025, 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline shall not be addressed. Substitution Requests received after the stated deadline shall not be considered. Verbal RFI(s) shall not receive a response. All responses to RFI questions shall be provided for clarification and information only and issued by formal addendum. Any amendments to the solicitation shall be made by formal addendum and posted in HIePRO. Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of $15,000.00, in the form checked below. (Check applicable bid security submitted with bid.) The Director of Transportation reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects when in the Director’s opinion such rejections or waiver will be for the best interest of the public.
