The Request for Quote (RFQ) posted on SAM.gov has been amended as follows: Addition of Documents: A document titled "Questions and Answers - Chiller Repair BEN" has been added to the solicitation. This document is provided for the purpose of clarifying technical details regarding the chiller and the Statement of Work (SOW) as requested by prospective offerors. Extended Submission Deadline: The due date for quote submissions has been extended to May 12, 2025, with all quotes due by 4:00 PM MDT. Please refer to the updated solicitation documents on SAM.gov for complete details. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The Contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and related services for the repair and maintenance of a York 600-ton centrifugal chiller (Unit Model YTK1C2E3-CTJ, Serial #GKLM-092709, Compressor Model YDTL-126), located at the Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Perform repairs to chiller #2, a York 600-ton centrifugal chiller, unit model YTK1C2E3-CTJ, serial# GKLM-092709, compressor model YDTL-126, which was damage due to the condenser tubes. This has left chiller #2 unable to function. The scope of work will include the following, recover the refrigerant, have refrigerant flirted and cleaned, Remove the condenser water piping and heads to allow replacement of tubes, Replace condenser tubes, Reinstall condenser water piping and heads after tubes are replaced, Cut up to 3 windows in the side of the condenser, Clean the condenser shell, Replace the glycol pump for the starter, Replace the purge oil pump, Replace the inlet guide vane actuator, Separate the compressor and rebuild the inlet guide vanes, Replace the oil, Replace all oil and refrigerant filters, Replace the glycol in the starter, Flushing of the chiller, Pull vacuum, Leak check, Recharge with recovered refrigerant, and the monitoring of the machine for impurities after the repair
