Request for Proposals soliciting qualified firms to landscape an area approximately 85 by 37 foot per broad specifications to be landscaped that will create a park like setting. Please include a landscape plan that will allow staff to visualize the area after the work is completed. Contractor will need to have City install a water tap for irrigation covered by the County. The area to be landscaped is to be prepared in a means that will create a park like setting. The expectation is that the landscape plan will create an attractive setting for pedestrians, vehicular traffic, residents and visitors on the Courthouse Square. The site must be properly prepared in terms of removal of overburden and the addition of fine graded topsoil and inclusion of fertilizers for the various plantings. Question Deadline 07/29/2025 A proposer may submit to Marlboro County Government a written request for an interpretation or clarification of, or an addendum to this RFP. Any such request must be received by Marlboro County Government no later than July 29, 2025. The request must be e-mailed to D.turner@marlborocounty.sc.gov. The successful proposer for this project will include a landscape plan that will allow staff to visualize the area after the work is completed, whether in the form of a photo or an architectural rendering and landscape plan. The property location is within Bennettsville City Limits. Bennettsville has a business license ordinance and the project will be subject to permitting. The City of Bennettsville provides water service to the project location. Contractor will need to have City install a water tap for irrigation.
