Project Description Division A Starting at the intersection of Perry Crossing Road and SR-60 extending northward along Perry Crossing Road to the existing Sellersburg Town Limits approximately 0.36 miles. Contractor shall mill and remove 2-inches of existing asphalt pavement, repair/patch approximately 40% of existing base material, proof roll base and install 1.5-inches of asphalt surface over entire project. After surface HMA is installed a liquid sealer (RejuvTec) shall be applied and striping will be installed. Division B Starting 500 feet west of the intersection of Greenleaf Road and CR-403 (25+ feet east of the existing Railroad tracks), and extending eastward along CR-403 to the west end of the Bridge over Silver Creek, approximately 0.89 miles. Contractor shall mill and remove 2-inches of existing asphalt pavement, repair/patch approximately 30% of exposed base material, proof roll base and install 1.5 inches of asphalt surface. After surface HMA is installed a liquid sealer (RejuvTec) shall be applied and striping will be installed. The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of Five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, payable to Clark County Board of Commissioners. The above checks or bonds are to ensure the executive of the contract on-which such bids are made The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance and maintenance bond to extend for a period of one year after final acceptance, in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor and Certificate of Insurance as described in the Contract Documents. As a requirement of the Community Crossings Grant funding utilized for this project, the prime contractor to whom the work is awarded must be prequalified with INDOT. Subcontractors can enter into subcontracts up to $300,000 without being prequalified with INDOT, however, the subcontractor is limited to a total of $300,000 in unearned work under contact on any given date with any owner, contractor, or other party. The CONTRACTOR will commence the work required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS within 10 calendar days after the date ofthe NOTICE TO PROCEED and shall be complete by August 15,2025 unlessthe period for completion is extended otherwise by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
