**As of July 8,2025, the project was awarded to Vortex Services, with an awarded amount of $856,217.85.** Construction of the Red Lodge 16-inch Bypass Line The project consists of the installation of approximately 3,370 linear feet of 16-inch PVC water main to bypass the existing pressure reducing valve on White Ave. S. It also includes the deconstruction of the booster pumps located in the utility building near the intersection of Lazy M. St. and U.S. Highway 78.After deconstruction of the two booster pumps, the proposed pressure reducing system will have to be installed in the same building. Currently, these booster pumps are the sole source of water supply to the County Club Estates Subdivision in Red Lodge Montana. During the pumps decommission, water will have to be bypassed to supply the County Club Estates Subdivision. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Red Lodge, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. This project is funded in part or in whole with grant/loan funding from the Montana Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF).
