Renovation of a mixed-use development in Red Lodge, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and educational facility.

The Red Lodge School District ("Owner"), located in Red Lodge, Montana, invites qualified engineering firms to submit proposals to provide professional engineering services for two boiler replacement/upgrade projects (Roosevelt Middle School & Veterans Memorial Civic Center) at district facilities. The Owner operates two facilities that require replacement or major upgrade of their boiler systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance with applicable codes. The Scope of work includes (but is not limited to): o Condition assessment of existing boiler systems at both buildings. o Preparation of design documents (plans, specifications) for each boiler project. o Development of contract documents between Owner and contractor. o Assistance with permitting, bidding, contractor selection, and construction administration/observation. o Development of construction schedule. o Coordination with district staff, utility providers, and other stakeholders. o Preparation of close-out documentation and as-built drawings. o Other services as requested by Owner. The actual construction contract for the boiler replacement projects will be separate from the engineering professional services contract. o The engineering firm's scope does not include general contractor work. The selected firm will provide design and construction-phase engineering services. o The Owner shall provide existing drawings, as they exist, access to the facilities, and historical operation/maintenance records to the extent available. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the contact named above by 11/17/2025. Responses to all questions will be disseminated to all proposers in the form of an addendum. No oral interpretations shall be binding. Any addenda to the RFP will be issued by Owner to prospective proposers and will become part of the contract documents.
