Renovation of an educational facility in Monterey, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid Opening for the award of a contract to construct this project: MPC - Administration Building HVAC Improvements Monterey Peninsula College, 980 Fremont Street, Monterev, CA 93940. DSA File No: 27-C1 DSA Application No: 01-122160 This renovation is projected to be in construction from October 2025 through January 2026. Scope of work consists of: Remove and replace air handling unit, fan coil units, BMS controllers and programming of new BMS controllers. All questions about the project should be submitted online by May 9, 2025. MPC Governing Board approval is tentatively scheduled for June 25, 2025. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. In accordance with Section 3300 of the Code, the bidder shall have a Class "B" or "C-20" license and shall maintain that license in good standing through Contract Completion and all applicable warranty periods.
