Site work for a water / sewer project in Edwardsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes, but is not limited to, Installing approximately 3000 LF of 8" PVC SDR 21 water main, horizontal directional drilling with 8" RJ C900 main, associated fittings, valves, fire hydrant assemblies, testing, flushing, and disinfection. Each separate bid will be required to remain open for a period of ninety (90) days after bids are opened. Each separate bid must be accompanied by certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the Owner, or a bid bond, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company meeting the requirements as referenced in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 10% of the bid. Such checks or bid bond will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within ten (10) days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder have executed the contract. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held for this project. All proposals must be made on forms furnished by the Engineer. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond satisfactory to the Owner in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, The Owner reserves the rights to reject all Bids, to reject any non-responsive Bid, and to determine the low, responsive, responsible Bid. Question Deadline: April 20 2025 - All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing
