Paulding County (County) is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from qualified firm(s) to provide consultant services for a new alignment roadway connection identified as the North Paulding Connector beginning at SR 61 (Cartersville Highway) and ending along Old Cartersville Road. Proposers shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same, Based on the SOQ's submitted in response to the RFQ, the Selection Committee will review and identify three (3) to five (5) firms which will be short listed. The firms short listed as finalists will receive notification and final instructions regarding Phase II - Technical Response will be shared at that time. No work should begin on Phase II until notifications have been sent. Paulding County will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. The Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit form must be submitted with all bid packages. Paulding County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the proposals, and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the County and the laws governing the State of Georgia. Each Statement of Qualifications requires two (2) submittals per package. The Statement of Qualifications (1 original and 5 copies) must be completed and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a SOQ must be plainly marked on the outside as, "RFQ # 25034-1518 North Paulding Connector - New alignment roadway from SR 61 to Old Cartersville Road" and include on the envelope the due date and time along with the company or individual submitting the proposal. An electronic copy (on a thumb or flash drive) must be included in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. The sealed envelope containing the electronic SOQ must be plainly marked on the outside as, "RFQ # 25034-1518 North Paulding Connector - New alignment roadway from SR 61 to Old Cartersville Road" and include on the envelope the due date and time along with the company or individual submitting the proposal
