Completion Date: Oct. 31, 2025 The extent of the scope of work is indicated on the drawings and by the requirements of each Section. A copy of this Project Manual, Specifications and Detail Drawings (including all addenda and change orders) is required to be available on the project site at all times. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to visit the project site to verify dimensions and construction of all existing details, equipment, and job site conditions pertaining to this work prior to bidding. 1. Limit use of premises to work in areas indicated. Do not disturb portions of project site beyond the Scope of Work of this contract. The details shown and descriptions of existing assemblies were obtained via isolated and random reviews by RSI BUILDING ENVELOPE and/or from the original drawings. Materials and conditions shown by the details should not be construed as representative of each detail item on the entire roof area. 1.04 Demolition And Roof Preparation: Prior to removal of existing roofsystem, provide all necessary protection for Owner's equipment and personnel. Maintain weather-tightness as work occurs and ensure that the building is weather-tight and secure when leaving the work site at the end of each work day. Remove debris and loose gravel (if present) from roof area and properly dispose of all materials off-site. Tear off existing roofmembrane, base flashings, insulation material and loose vapor retarder (if present) down to the roof deck and properly dispose of off-site. Ensure that all drains are in proper working order and that drain lines are clear to the first elbow. Contractor to temporarily disconnect and/or modify any conduits, gas lines, ductwork, etc. as necessary to allow for the installation ofthe new roofing system Existing obsolete mechanical equipment to be disconnected and completely removed and disposed of off-site. Any existing roofing outside ofthe current Scope ofWork shall be protected by Contractor using a minimum of %"-thick plywood and a minimum of 1" rigid insulation board. Any damage to the existing roofshall be repaired by the Contractor immediately and the Owner is to be notified Removal and Replacement of the existing BUR with fully adhered 60 Mil EPDM with an alternate bid for fully adhered 60 PVC.
