Site work and paving for a civil project in Rifle, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes a new transmission water main pipeline from the water treatment plant to the north tank. A portion of distribution water main will be rebuilt on Birch Avenue. Road improvements are included on the pipeline path on 7th Street, Birch Avenue, 16th Street, and Graham Mesa Avenue. Storm Drain, signage & striping, concrete curb, gutter, & sidewalk, asphalt roadway, road base, and re-grading are included in the project work. Traffic control will be the responsibility of the contractor. Traffic control plans will be required for submittal and approval. Xcel Energy will perform installation of street lights mounted to the existing overhead electric poles. All of this work has been coordinated by the City but coordination with Xcel and the contractor for general timing will be needed after award.
