Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sparta, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Major Quantities on the Project Include: 5,910 SY Remove Concrete Pavement 3,915 CY Excavation 5,510 TON Aggregate Base Course 1,675 TON HMA Pavement 2,585 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter 1,420 LF DIP Water Main 1,225 LF 10-Inch PVC Sanitary Sewer 760 LF RCP Storm Sewer 1,550 SY Turf Restoration 1,750 LF Pavement Marking Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Sparta reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
