It is the intent of this specification to obtain annual contract for fire alarm monitoring, inspections, maintenance and repair services including but not limited to inspecting fire alarm system, sprinkler system and fire extinguishers annually, as well as 24/7 monitoring. Current fire alarm system is Silent Knight. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/PROPOSERS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CITY OF BEDFORD STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to seek additional or new submittals, negotiate terms and conditions, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any submittal deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Any contract will be awarded on the basis of recognized competence and integrity within the field and other factors deemed relevant by the City, and while price 4 will be an important factor in the City's decision, price will not be the sole determining factor.
