It is the intent of this specification to obtain an annual contract for the purchase of on-call electrical services to include new electrical installations, routine maintenance, and repair services. These services will be provided on an as-needed basis and must include all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation and methods of communication for the City of Bedford. This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to seek additional or new submittals, negotiate terms and conditions, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any submittal deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Any contract will be awarded on the basis of recognized competence and integrity within the field and other factors deemed relevant by the City, and while price 4 will be an important factor in the City’s decision, price will not be the sole determining factor.
