Site work and paving for a civil project in High Ridge, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work includes adding 2 to 4 Type A3 shoulders throughout the project limits on Antire Road and reconstruction of the sharp curve on Antire Road at Crestview Drive that includes a new horizontal and vertical curve alignment. Additional improvements include new guardrail with crashworthy end terminals, asphalt and concrete paved approaches, linear shoulder grading, small block retaining walls, underground storm sewers, an ultra-thin bonded wearing surface throughout the project limits, along with rumble strips and striping. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025 Edition. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insurance shall be submitted with each proposal. All bids shall be made on the forms provided. Three (3) copies of the bid must be submitted, one (1) being original inked. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, with MoDOT concurrence.
