Renovation of a library in High Ridge, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,000-square-foot library.
Jefferson County Library District is requesting bids for Carpet Replacement Questions may be directed to Gary Grzeskowiak, Facilities Manager, Jefferson County Library, via phone at 636-677-8689 or via email at gary@jeffcolib.org Jefferson County Library (JCL) is requesting competitive proposals from contractors for the purpose of Carpet Removal and Replacement. JCL is requesting competitive quotes from contractors for the purpose of Removing and Installing new carpeting. In total approximately 13,000 Sq Feet to be installed at (2) two of our branch locations. Material Samples/Specs to be provided to the contractors in attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting. Old carpet will not be removed or replaced under the areas covered by existing shelving units, Except that the bases of the shelving will be lifted/ removed and reinstalled so the new carpet can be tucked under the edge. Replacement of existing, accessible Cove Base, to match existing. Contractor is responsible for all prep work. Contractor shall include all necessary materials for the clean up, leveling and transitions required for the installation. Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of old carpeting and waste materials. Contractor will provide a Minimum of a 12 month warranty on labor to be issued to the JCL. All dimensions / measurements, and materials required for the complete installation shall be verified by the bidding contractor prior to bid submission. Contractor will provide JCL with one (1) additional case of carpet tiles per location.. Please bid the project as the Library is in operation during the flooring project. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining safe and unimpeded access for all staff and patrons while arriving, using and leaving the facility. Bids are to be broken down separately by each Branch location and area. Alternate Bid Option #1 - Bid option of project being completed outside of normal Library business hours, overnight, after hours or Sunday. All bids are to be provided / performed at the Missouri Prevailing Wage. Alternative Bid Options (Please list items as an alternative bid option).
