Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Livermore Falls, Maine. Working plans call for the construction of a 1,400-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of June 23, 2025 None of the bids were accepted as they were all over budget, No definite date for rebid The work generally consists of the following: The construction of a 1,400 sqft. Fire Station Annex consisting of concrete pad; wood frame, insulated, steel siding and metal roof, electrical systems (lighting and power); mechanical heating and ventilation systems; connection to the well and septic system provided by others. Bidders are encouraged to conduct visits to the site prior to the bid date. The Contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of all pertinent general public laws of the State of Maine in effect at the time of the execution of the Contract. A satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany bids. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance/Payment Bonds and Lien Waivers to cover the execution of the work. Bonds and Lien Waivers shall conform to the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities and reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal as may be deemed to be in the Owner's best interest. The Owner is a tax exempt entity.
