All bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal forms provided in the Specifications. A deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. It must be either in the form of a cashiers check, a certified check, or a surety bond payable to the City of Fellsmere. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. If the Contract is awarded to a Bidder, that Bidder shall enter into a Contract with the City and furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds and Certificates of Insurance or forfeit the surety bond or deposit as liquidated damages. A contract must be executed within ten (10) days following the award of the successful bidder.
