Design 46KV Transmission Line Upgrades Electrical Design and Construction Administration Services Springville Power, on behalf of Springville City, is soliciting technical proposals for engineering services to furnish the city with a design to upgrade a portion of the City's 46kV transmission line system. The existing 46kV transmission line system is aging and requires replacement. The project scope shall include a design which incorporates two phases, each addressing a separate portion of the 46kV transmission line system. Both will be included in the design, but work will be completed in different phases. The overhead 46kV design consists of pole and line replacement, reconductoring, and underbuilt 12.47kV infrastructure, potentially including other utilities such as communication/fiber lines. These segments will need to be completed in coordination with corresponding utilities to transfer from the existing transmission line poles to their replacements. As part of the proposal, the respondent Engineering Firm shall provide separate pricing for the design of each phase. A project total without detail on the cost for design of each phase will not be considered responsive to this RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
