Site work for a water / sewer project in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Phase 1 Includes Piers V, U, T, Y, X, N, and O. The base bid is for a steel frame dock system. The County is also soliciting pricing of an aluminum or timber frame system as an alternative (reduction in price) due to budget constraints for the overall revitalization project. Bidders are not required to supply pricing for a timber frame system, and it is acceptable to only supply a completed Base Bid Proposal Form if the bidder will only supply pricing for the base bid and not the alternative (aluminum or timber frame). Respondents are reminded to carefully examine the bid packet, specifications, and plans. Bidders should make a written request to Duane McKinney, Purchasing Manager at Duane.McKinney@racinecounty.com for interpretation or correction of any printed material. Any requests for change shall be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days prior to bid opening
