This project includes replacing all obsolete Rockwell PLC at the treatment plants' North Ozone and South Ozone process areas. Replacement scope will include both the Ozone System Supplier (OSS) PLCs and the Process Control System Integrator (PCSI) PLCs as shown on Drawings. The scope of replacement at each control panel shall include replacing components such as PLC chassis, power supplies, CPU, I/O cards, network cards, remote I/O adaptors, network switch, etc. The Contractor shall fabricate, install, commission, test and make operational the SCADA system hardware upgrades, along with all additional PLC programming enhancements and functionality as described in Section 40 61 96 - Process Control Narratives.. The OPCC for this project is $6M - 10M. The Ozone System Supplieris work shall be performed by Aqua Aerobic. The Owner has a pre-negotiated pricing for the work to be performed by the OSS. The Contractor shall include the pre-negotiated price with the OSS in the Contract and shall be required to coordinate all work performed by the OSS and the PCSI. The following is a brief summary of the overall scope of work: Replace all obsolete Rockwell PLC hardware along with other control panel components such as Operator Interface Units (OIUs), power supplies, network switches, etc. as shown on Drawings. Specific control panels related to the OSS or PCSI are shown on Drawings. For each PLC to be replaced, provide the equivalent number of I/O modules and the number channels to match the existing I/O for monitoring and control capabilities. Replace all existing Ozone HMI graphic screens with new high performance HMI graphic screens in accordance with the Districtis HMI Configuration Standards. For the OSS PLCs, provide additional PLC programming enhancements related to stopping the ozone delivery when any Plant is shutdown. Enhancements shall also include automating the ozone generator feed system at each Plant. Refer to Section 40 61 96, Process Control Descriptions for further details. Provide the services of a CCNA certified network specialist to configure the new ozone network with the switches furnished under this Contract. Coordinate with Plant Staff to commission the upgraded ozone systems to meet the operational constraints and requirements described in Section 01 35 00 n Special Procedures. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
