The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the demolition of abandoned 30" steel pipe and the construction of approximately 130 LF of 36-inch welded steel pipe, 40 LF of 30-inch diameter above ground piping with a magnetic flow meter, motor operated sleeve valve, connection to existing 48-inch pump station discharge header and 36-inch pipeline, installation of two (2) isolation butterfly valves 36-inches in diameter, and integration of system in SCADA network. The OPCC for this project is $2-3M. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the project completely operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 4. Test and place the completed project in operation. 5. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as indicated in Contract Documents for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 6. The Contractor will be required to assume full responsibility for pre-procured sleeve and butterfly valves as indicated in Section 40 05 69, Sleeve Valves, and Section 40 05 64, Butterfly Valves. 7. Drawings and specifications do not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Demolition and disposal of 30-inch pipe and tee connections. 2. Miscellaneous paving and grading work. 3. Excavation and installation of underground 36-inch welded steel pipe and appurtenances. 4. Installation of above ground 30-inch welded steel pipe and appurtenances on a 50-feet x 12-feet above-grade concrete slab. Appurtenances include a 30-inch magnetic flow meter, 18-inch sleeve valve with electric motor operator, and associated combination air valves, accessories, and tees. 5. Installation of two buried 36-inch butterfly valves. 6. Installation of a welded 48-inch x 36-inch steel tee, a 36-inch steel tee to existing 36-inch and 48-inch pipelines with associated closure pieces. 7. Miscellaneous appurtenances. 8.
