Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will improve Black Bob Road from 153rd Terrace to 159th Street from a 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane divided arterial section. Improvements will include a new single-span prestressed concrete bridge, new pavement construction, curb and gutter, medians, traffic signal, streetlights, sidewalks, and storm sewers. The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. This project was originally bid on April 15, 2025. The bid was subsequently pulled back due to previously unrealized vertical profile design requirements at the Black Foot Court intersection (for a separate project that extends west of this intersection). In this plan set, this resulted in the redesign of 159th Street, between Stations 288+75.66 and 299+03.26.
