SCOPE The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to establish firm fixed price contracts with one or more qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the projects. The projects consist of the details below: Abe Lincoln Elementary - Interior remodel of existing entry vestibule and main office area. A new double door partition and a new transaction window will create a security vestibule. Kennedy Elementary - Interior remodel of existing office interior. A new partition wall with a door and transaction window will create a security vestibule. McLoughlin Middle School - Interior remodel of main office space. A new partition wall with door and transaction window will create a security vestibule. Construction of these vestibules must be completed no later than August 8, 2025. To achieve this deadline, we are asking for separate bids for each location. If a single bidder is awarded multiple projects based on lowest price, and cannot commit to the August 8, 2025 completion date for all awarded projects, the district may award some of the projects to the second lowest bidder at its discretion. The Medford School District reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids submitted or to waive any minor formalities of this call, if in the judgment of the School Board the best interest of the District would be served. No proposer may withdraw his/her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. Questions, interpretations or clarifications of this ITB must be requested in writing.
