Site work for a civil project in Willow Hill, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Official bidding documents are to be requested through High Tide Environmental LLC in order to bid. The project generally consists of construction of a new water storage tank, installation of a new water treatment structure, installation of new disinfection system equipment, relocation of existing water softening equipment, minor electrical work, and minor excavation & concrete work. The project will include one contract for General Construction. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Bid total, payable to the owner, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Fannett-Metal School District specifically reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Authority. The successful bidder will be notified, in writing, within 60 days of the bid opening date of the acceptance of any Bid proposal by the Owner. .Question Deadline 05/06/2025 Questions received later than three (3) working days prior to Bid Opening will not be answered. Installation of a new water storage tank. The water storage tank has been procured by Fannett-Metal School District through Mid-Atlantic Storage Systems Inc. (MASSI). As part of their contact with Fannett-Metal School District, Mid-Atlantic Storage Systems Inc. (MASSI) will construct the tank foundation, the concrete tank floor, and fully erect the water storage tank. The General Contractor will be responsible for the following a. General excavation and site preparation for the water storage tank. The required work is identified within the storage tank submittal package which is included as Attachment D of these Contract Documents. b. In addition to general site excavation and site preparation, the General Contractor is responsible for the following i. Installation of feed piping and discharge piping from within die concrete tank floor. Work generally includes installation of piping under the tank foundation, as well as penetrations into the concrete tank floor. ii. Installation of "tangential baffles" onto the concrete tank floor, as depicted and described within die project plans Construction of a new concrete foundation for a new water treatment building. The approximate size of the concrete foundation shall be 13' x 25', and shall be 6" thick. The foundation shall be constructed in a manner to incorporate an already existing concrete vault which houses pumping equipment. This work shall also include three penetrations along the north end of the concrete pad for the following a. 1" raw water feed piping b. 3" process feed piping c. 3" finished water piping Construction and/or erection of a new water treatment building with approximate dimensions of 12' x 24'. The water treatment building can either be erected on site or installed as a pre-constructed structure. The information provided through Attachment E of the Contract Documents represents a pre-constructed structure that is delivered assembled and placed onto the newly constructed foundation. Installation of water system piping, to include a. Connection to existing 1" steel raw water feed piping, and relocation into the new water treatment building. Contractor shall use schedule 40 PVC piping with the appropriate fittings. New raw water feed piping shall enter the new water treatment building through die concrete floor. b. 3" process feed piping from the new water treatment building into die new water storage tank. Contractor shall use schedule 40 PVC. Process feed piping shall exit the new water treatment building through the concrete floor. c. 3" finished water piping from die water storage tank into the new water treatment building. Contractor shall use schedule 40 PVC. Finished water piping shall enter the new water treatment building through die concrete floor. 5. Installation of new, and/or relocation of existing, water treatment process equipment and internal process piping. This work is to be completed through Knepper's Kleen Water, located at 2793 Wiles Road, Chambersburg PA 17202. The General Contractor will be responsible for providing suitable connection points for each of the water pipes identified widiin item 4 above, as well as coordination of the required work with Knepper's Kleen Water. Contractor shall include a cost within their bid proposal for this work, and shall use $17,026.18 as the cost for this work. Payment to Knepper's Kleen Water will be through the Contractor. 6. Bypass existing underground Tank Between the Elementary' & High School Facility. This work also to be performed by Knepper's Kleen Water.
