Hyde Park Solar Energy Project - Phase 2 Modify Existing Ground Mount Solar Power Generation System to add 14 extra-large panels as specified on Hyde Park Borough Property including removal of 35 LF of existing fencing and installation of 75 LF of fencing as specified all quantities approximate Proposals must specify all technical aspects of the project and supply good faith estimates of additional power production to be supplied and projected cost savings (including savings through government incentives and tax credits The Borough reserves the right to: reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part; advertise for bids on the same or different terms; waive any informality; award a contract in the best interest of the Borough; reduce costs by 25% or to the funds available; accept a proposal from a responsible bidder having the lowest price or; award no contract at all. Bidders must: visit the site prior to submitting a bid; carry Liability Property Damage and Workers' Compensation Insurance as specified; have 10 years of experience in the installation of solar power generation systems; provide references and; be a Pennsylvania based Company. Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Hyde Park Borough No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the opening thereof. Contractor to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27 1955 as amended. PA Prevailing wage rates and other requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. This project is funded in whole or part by funds donated to the Borough through a grant obtained by Hyde Park Volunteer Fire Company.
