Project Scope:SINGER POND ROAD - Edge of pavement widening, Patching and Surface Treatment Overlay ProjectThe project consists of 5.1 Miles of Singer Pond Road from 800 Feet South of Trotman Road to 450 feet South ofMarvin Wright Road - Mt Airy Baptist Church:The project scope is shown on the plans/cross-sections/maps as prepared by Construction Materials Services,Inc. for each project as listed above. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bidamount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a surety issued bond or cashier's check made payable to StewartCounty. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Stewart Countyas liquidated damages if the bidder fails to executethe Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that hehas been awarded the Contract.Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater,be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties onFederal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to dobusiness in the State of Georgia. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER.
