A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Septic Systems Improvements Contractor License: All septic tank contractors doing business in Stewart County are required to hold a current valid Georgia business license and must be a certified septic system company in Georgia that is in good standing with the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH). Work to Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project titled 23h-y-128-1-6356 CDBG SEPTIC SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS which consists of the abandonment of existing septic systems and the installation of new 1000 gallon septic tanks, drain fields, site grading, grassing, and tree clearing in the Dan Brinson Road area of Stewart County. No proposal may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days. Bonds are not required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional proposals and to reject the proposal of any firm whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that firm whether because the proposal is not responsive, the firm is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
