Mecklenburg County, located in the State of North Carolina, is seeking Bids/Proposals from qualified vendors to provide/perform Multiple Park Athletic Court Construction and Resurfacing. . Locations Multiple Mecklenburg County Parks, including but not limited to: o Reedy Creek Park- 2900 Rocky River Road o Col Francis J Beatty Park- 4330 Weddington Road o Jetton Park- 19000 Jetton Road o Mason Wallace Park- 7301 Monroe Road o Cordelia Park- 2100 N Davidson Street Question Deadline 05/01/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Meckbids@mecklenburgcountync.gov Start date- 7/1/2025 MBE (11%), WBE (4%) General 1. Contractor shall furnish all Labor, material and equipment required for the completion and operation of fencing as intended by owner in accordance with applicable codes. 2. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions. Discrepancies between field dimensions and or contract documents shall be brought to the attention of the owner for clarification before commencing work. 3. Contractor responsible for safe delivery and storage of all materials. 4. Alterations, changes or substitutions to the contract documents performed without the owners' written approval shall be corrected at the contractor's expense. 5. All contractors and subcontractors shall have a complete set of contract documents on hand at all times to ensure coordination across all disciplines. 6. Construction means and methods are the sole responsibility of the contractor. No direction is given or implied by the design professional to review, supervise or approve construction means and methods. 7. Damage to existing parks caused by actions of contractor or any subcontractors shall be repaired in-kind by the contractor.
