Purpose: The Purpose of this invitation for Bids (IFB) is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract to provide Aluminum Sign Sheeting on an "as needed" basis when ordered by the NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) Sign Plant. Background: DAC Enterprise Sign Plant provides building signs, parking lot signs, traffic signs and many other types of signage for their customers that are fabricated with this material. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Specific Term Contract. The Contract shall have an initial term of three (3) years, beginning on the date of final Contract execution (the "Effective Date"). At the end of the Contract's term, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term for a period of up to 180 days in 90-dayor-less increments.
