Reference Number 0000384203 T057001C, 2025-018 C-64-25-066-X-00 Bid Intent Not Available Notice is hereby given that Maricopa County (County) is conducting this invitation for SEALED BIDS for the work described herein: This Federally funded project is located in Section 17, Township 2 South, Range 5 West and Sections 6,7,and 8,Township 3 South, Range 4 West in the southwest region of the Phoenix Metropolitan area (old US80 Highway between Patterson Road and Agua Caliente Extension Road) and within Maricopa County. The proposed work consists of applying High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) to all roadway segments identified in location of the work. Additional work includes updating all signing and pavement markings. Each bid must be accompanied by a Surety Bond, cashier's or certified check or postal money order equal to 10 percent of the bid, made payable to the Treasurer of Maricopa County as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder; the bidder will, within ten (10) days from the date of Notice of Award, enter into proper contract and bond condition for the faithful performance of the work, otherwise said amount will be forfeited to the Board of Supervisors as liquidated damages. (see solicitation for details) For this contract, a DBE goal of 0% is established for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The contractor, sub recipient or subcontractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of this contract. The contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 in the award and administration of DOT-assisted contracts. Failure by the contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract, which may result in the termination of this contract or such other remedy as the recipient deems appropriate.
