No definite date for the rebid.** Opengov Project No: PT22137001 FTA SCOPE OF WORK The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The project involves modifying the West Transit Facility, located at 405 N. 79th Avenue, Phoenix, to enhance its infrastructure for charging battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses. This will support the immediate infrastructure needs while laying the groundwork for future expansions of charging and hydrogen fueling capabilities. Key components of the scope of work include the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and pedestal chargers; trenching and boring to run conduit from the utility to transformers, which may necessitate a boring entrance for construction efficiency; installation of conduit for a high-voltage branch off the main transmission line, along with an electrical stub for the future installation of permanent hydrogen fuel storage equipment; extension of the existing fire line to facilitate the installation of a fire hydrant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations; updating mechanical ductwork with a gas detection system for hydrogen; and removal and replacement of concrete portions of the existing parking surface area as required for construction activities. This approach will ensure the facility is equipped to handle current and future demands for sustainable public transportation. This is a federal-aid project.
