Demolition and site work for a residential development in Festus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
All Missouri D.N.R., and E.P.A. demolition and abatement regulations must be followed, and a City of Festus demolition permit must be acquired. Specifications are as follows: o All bidders must perform a site visit or bid will be rejected o Demo and Land Disturbance permits must be pulled for each location. (fees waived) o Bids must list a detailed scope of work, incomplete bids notlisting testing or disposal feeswill be rejected o All utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas etc.) must be disconnected with inspections completed (sewer capped) o Entirety of the structures must be removed to ground level, foundations cleaned out below ground level, lot seeded and strawed o All required D.N.R. and E.P.A. abatement requirements followed, with copies of any related paperwork turned into city Bidders shall include liability insurance coverage of $1,000,000 or more, auto coverage, and proof of Worker's Compensation to be submitted with bid paperwork. City to be listed as additional insured. All Contractors will be required to have a current city contractor's license. The City of Festus reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities with regard to the bidding process. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest and best, responsive and responsible bidder based on the sole determination of and in the best interest of the city.
