Renovation of an educational facility in Festus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Festus R-VI School District is currently seeking proposals for renovations of 4 restrooms in the Festus Intermediate building. One set of boys and girls restrooms are near room16 on the upper floor and the other set of boys and girls restrooms are near room 48 on the lower floor. This project is a "turnkey" solution that will include the purchase of bathroom fixtures, partitions, lighting, labor and other related material for the installation and configuration of said items to satisfy the needs and requirements as outlined in the specifications of this RFP. Work is to be scheduled after June 1, 2025 and completed by August 10, 2025 Scope of Services: Demolition: All existing plumbing fixtures, lighting, partitions, floor tile, and wall tile. Any plumbing that will not be used in new installations should be stubbed and capped off with a shutoff. Owner will remove any fixtures that are to be kept prior to the start date. Construction: Installation of 16 floor mounted closet type toilets per manufacturer's specifications to include flush valve and automatic flusher. Replacement of the flange should be included if needed. Units will be mounted to the flange only with a typical seal. Installation of 8 wall mounted urinals per manufacturer's specifications to include flush valve and automatic flusher. Replacement of the flange should be included, if needed, and replaced. Units should be mounted to the flange only with a typical seal. Installation of floor and wall tile. Installation of partitions with full length Stainless steel hardware and overhead style bracing. Installation of 2 station hand sink and faucets with mixing valve. (Any drains or supplies not used, should be capped off) Installation of LED can type fixtures to include new toggle switches and stainless steel outlet and switch covers. Installation of horn/strobe/emergency lighting (where applicable). Installation of new grill or diffusers panels (where applicable). Any patch, repair, paint drywall (where applicable). Installation of new ceiling tile and grid to match existing. Painting of ceilings and door frames (where applicable). All hardware is to be stainless steel Tile Walls - 12' x 12" Daltile Exquisite Ivory EQ10 Floors - 18" x 18" Daltile Exquisite Mink EQ13 Wall accent - Black and Gold (provide color samples) Request for Qualification Statements: The following information should be included under the title "Request for Proposals for ECC Parking Lot Improvements." 1. Name of Firm. 2. Firm address 3. Firm telephone number. 4. Firm federal tax identification number. 5. Name, title, address, telephone number, fax number and email address of contact person authorized to contractually obligate the firm. Contents of Proposal Submittal A brief statement of the Firm's understanding of the scope of the work to be performed; Provide an estimated schedule for completion. Describe the firm's workload and current capacity to accomplish the work by the proposed deadlines. Identify all subcontractors proposed for the project, their role and provide pertinent information on each subcontractor related to this section. The Festus R-6 School District reserves the right to request any additional information to assure itself of a Firm's financial status. 4. Professional References: Firm should: Provide professional references of previous projects as described. The Festus R-6 School District will determine which firm will be selected to enter into contract negotiations. Questions should be addressed to Steve Copeland, Director of Maintenance, at copelandsteven@ festusedu.com. Responses to the RFP should be delivered to Festus R-6 School District Central Office, located at: 1515 Mid-Meadow Ln., Festus, MO 63028 Performance and Payment Bonds: Upon award of bid, Bidder shall be required to submit to the District proof of a Performance Bond. Bond Company must be a U.S. Company with an A+ best rating and licensed in all 50 states. Contractor will provide proof of the bonding company with their initial bid. Permits: The vendor shall be responsible for securing any necessary city, county, state, and/or federal permits prior to commencing work. Payment Terms: The Festus R-VI will make payment in full (100%) following the next board of education meeting after the project is complete and accepted by authorized R-VI officials. If the contractor desires other payment arrangements, please detail within bid. Deadline for Completion of Project: Pending awarding of the bid, the project must be completed within the timelines established between the contractor and R-VI District. Vendors may have access to the facility during this time period at all times during the 24-hour day as long as arrangements are made in advance with school officials and the facility is available. It is imperative that the vendor be able to complete work on established timelines.
