Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Corte Madera, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Base Bid Project improvements will generally include construction to remove portions of the concrete channel walls of Corte Madera Creek downstream of Stadium Way pedestrian bridge, grading and earthwork to restore a natural creek bank, and installation of erosion and scour protection logs along the toe of the channel. Access will be through a temporary easement with the College of Marin, and work will be adjacent to the multi-use path and a residential neighborhood of Kentfield. Work within the dewatered creek channel is limited to take place between September 1 st and October 15th. A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the Marin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District shall accompany the Proposal. Question Deadline 05/15/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Award of contract, if awarded, shall be based on budget requirements, and will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the total Base Bid amount whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid Opening. Questions concerning the Bid should be submitted via Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. The Marin County Flood Control & Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors and/or their District Engineer designee as authorized reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities.
