The Hart Street Connector Path project aims to formalize an accessible path and improve multi-modal movements at the Palm Avenue/Hart Street/ Pepper Avenue intersection. The work includes demolition; traffic control; erosion and sediment control; tree removal; hot mix asphalt resurfacing and dikes; concrete curb and gutters, ADA compliant accessible ramps, sidewalks/flatwork, sidewalk underdrains, aggregate base, and subgrade preparation; new and retrofitted storm drain structures and corrugated HDPE installation; signing and striping for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists; minor storm drainage system improvements; ground cover and planting; coordination with utility agencies for relocation and adjustment of rims and lids. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays A certified check, or bid bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will fulfill the terms of the bid.
