The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the plumbing replacement in Building 20 at Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility, Mount Pleasant, Iowa 52641. Bid Package #01 Architectural Prime Contractor - Low Bidder - Tricon General Construction, Inc. $988,100 Bid Package #02 - Mechanical Prime Contractor - Low Bidder Tricon General Construction, Inc. $1,157,000 Bid Package #03 - Abatement Contractor - No bids received The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on July 7th, 2025 and end on May 29th, 2026. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashierís check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax.
