Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development.
Work includes lifting the existing wood framed church, removing the existing foundation walls and basement floors, digging the basement deeper, and installing new concrete foundation walls and concrete floor, and other work indicated. Each bid shall be made on a form furnished by the Engineer and shall be sealed in an envelope. The bid bond/bid security shall be 5% and submitted in a separate envelope. The bidder's security shall be in the form of a cashier's check or a certified check The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond both in an amount equal to 100% and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. These Bonds will be required of the Contractor, within ten (10) days. All bidders must provide a statement regarding the bidder's resident status. This statement shall be on the Bidder Status Form designated by the Bidder Status Form Issuing Entity and available online. The statement must be signed by an authorized representative of the bidder. Failure by any bidder to provide a completed statement included in the envelope containing the bid security may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected.
