Site work for a water / sewer project in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Restoration and repair of storm water control measures damaged by Tropical Storm Helene. No engineering is required for these repairs Quantity: 6 locations Specifications: See below list of storm water control measures including bio cells, wetlands, rain gardens, swales, and stabilization areas. Work includes sediment removal, replanting, stabilization, and repair of storm water infrastructure. 1. Biocell at Golf Course Croquet: Replace riprap in apron, remove debris and trash. 2. Public Services Rain Garden: Rebuild and replant; reset roof drains; riverbank has been stabilized by MSD to protect their sewer line that runs parallel to the river. 3. Terry Estates Wetland and Biocell: Remove sediment from wetland and west biocell; replace mulch; replant cells and pollinator islands. Area: 4915 sf. 4. Biocell at Greenway Near Community Garden: Remove sediment; replace filter media; replant. Area: 500 sf. 5. Lake Tomahawk Grassy Swales: Remove sediment; regrade uphill swale to remove ruts; unclog culvert; replant. Area: 1600 sf. 6. Constructed wetland at Riverwalk Park: remove sediment, and debris, unclog out and replant. Area 5100 sf.
