2025 Trail, Sidewalk & Curb Ramp Improvements for furnishing al: labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform 2025 TRAIL, SIDEWALK & CURB RAMP IMPROVEMENTS The amount of the engineer's estimate of the cost of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, fiscal, legal, interest, and miscellaneous costs) is $107,400.00. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by & & A Consulting Group, Inc., and must be accompanied by an original bid bond or a Certified check in the amount of not less than $5,370.00 made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 237 as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the Improvements in accordance with this Notice to Contractor, and will give a contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price, all as provided in the specifications. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying proposals not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of THIRTY (30) days after date set for opening of bids. The bid security shall be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the Proposal envelope and shall be marked "810 SECURITY" the project identified thereon, Proposals received after the above time shall be returned unopened to the bidder submitting the proposal. Sanitary and Improvement District 237 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, reserves the right to reject any or all biis received and to waive informalities and irregularities SCOPE OF WORK 4.01 Intent of Contract The Contract's intent is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and all incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer will provide the Contractor one (1) complete copy of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall have this complete copy available on the work site at all times. The Engineer will provide six (6) copies of all plans,specifications, and addenda at no cost to the Contractor. The Engineer may furnish additional copies for a fee. 4.02 Alteration of Plans or Character of Work The Engineer reserves the right to alter the following: • Contract item quantities; • Construction details; or • Roadway, sewer, structure, or facility grade or alignment. Alterations will not waive or invalidate any Contract provisions. If the alteration increases or decreases the total original estimated Contract sum by twenty-five (25) percent or more, the Owner may execute a supplemental agreement with the Contractor. Work on an alteration requiring a supplemental agreement shall not begin until all parties have executed such agreement. Upon submitting a proposal, the Contractor acknowledges that the quantities contained in the proposal forms, unless otherwise indicated in the Contract Documents, are estimates that may vary. No claims for anticipated profit, profit loss, or any other damage due to variation between the proposal and the actual quantities are allowed.
