Reference Number 0000385273 Bid Intent Not Available Job Location: Arthur Lakes Library - 1400 Illinois St., Golden, CO 80401 Colorado School of Mines (Mines), an exemplary institution in science and engineering and the state's oldest public institution of higher education, is soliciting bids for the modernization of one (1) Hydraulic Passenger Elevator at The Arthur Lakes Library - 1400 Illinois Street - Golden, CO 80401. The successful elevator contractor will be required to modernize the one (1) passenger elevator as well as subcontract the Elevator/Building interface requirements including the Electrical and Mechanical work. The Colorado School of Mines will upgrade or modify the existing Building Fire Protection Panel and/or Fire Suppression requirements necessary to marry the existing building fire panel with the new elevator control equipment. Scope of Services 1. The elevator contractor shall provide complete construction services for the modernization of the existing Elevator #2 at the Arthur Lakes Library, including hauling and/or recycling refuse material, electrical work, mechanical work, and the complete scope outlined in the project specifications. 2. The project shall include all work needed for a complete, "ready to use" elevator. 3. Construction will be performed in cooperation with Colorado School of Mines. 4.
