Vegetation Safety Management Project I-295-South 1 , Salem, Gloucester, And Camden Couties; Federal Project No: 0295341, PE No: 2622619, CE No: 2207715, Estimated Range between $2,500,001 to $5,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 6 or 6F The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 99,420.00 Sy Selective Clearing 1,100.00 U Tree Removal, Over 6" to 12" Diameter 547.00 U Tree Removal, Over 12" to 18" Diameter 84.00 U Tree Removal, Over 18" to 24" Diameter 33.00 U Tree Removal, Over 24" to 30" Diameter 9.00 U Tree Removal, Over 30" to 36" Diameter 5.00 U Tree Removal, Over 36" Diameter Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department.
