Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project entails numerous improvements to the Charles F. McDevitt Park including the construction of new walks, bike trails, dog park, basketball court, nature playground, ADA parking and improvements to the utilities and irrigation system. The scope of work for this contract includes: o Saw cutting, demolition, and removal of existing concrete walk, asphalt paving, retaining wall, site furniture and trees. o Major site grading, earthwork, and drainage. o Utility installation, including potable water. o Concrete sidewalk installation. o Irrigation. o Landscape installation and repair. o Tree preservation. o Installation of basketball court, dog park, bike trails, nature playground. o Installation of ADA parking. A Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the amount of the bid is required. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bids received and to accept the bid(s) that are in the best interest of the City. Boise City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Boise is exempt from Federal and State taxes and will execute the required exemption certificates.
