Renovation of a detention facility in Lansing, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Removal and Installation of Windows and Doors Questions requesting clarification of the bid must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer indicated above: Before the end of the day, on Tuesday, May 13 2025 Answers to questions will be available in the form of an addendum on the Procurement and Contracts' website at online. General Scope: The awarded vendor shall remove glass and framing of existing doors and windows and furnish and install new units at existing locations at the Lansing Correctional Facility East Campus in Lansing Kansas. Work shall be performed on the Activities and X - Unit building locations. The location is a minimum custody and work release resident location. Contracted workers will be subject to working in proximity to residents at this location. Bid Requirements: o Removal of existing units to include glass, framing and doors o Furnish and install replacement units in accordance with included site elevation drawings. (See Attachment A - Drawings) o Fabricated material frames to be of a Tubelite Storefront (Center-Set) configuration o Medium stile doors with mid-rails and bottom rails. Minimum 5" mid rail and 10" bottom rail. o Hardware to include; continuous hinge, threshold, rim panic, night latch, and closers o Tubelite to be clear anodized finish, minimum 5-year warranty o Glass - 1" clear, with LowE glazing o Metal Panels - 1" o Project completion after award no later than November 1, 2025
