Perimeter Road Pavement - Lansing Lansing Correctional Facility is seeking competitive bids for Mill and Overlay at the Lansing Correctional Facility. This Project consists of repaving the perimeter road located at the Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing Kansas. The awarded vendor will provide and install asphalt material over the current gravel surface of the exterior perimeter road. All work for this project shall be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner and be in accordance with the 2015 Kansas Department of Transportation Specifications and latest special provisions active on the date the project is awarded. This is a LUMP SUM project. No price adjustments will be made for asphalt. A minimum of one year warranty for both workmanship and materials is required. Required material and labor to include: Estimated 10,800 square yards asphalt. Asphalt to be installed at a minimum depth of 5 inches, (3" base and 2" asphalt surface). Finished road width of 24 foot. Supply and install manhole risers. Existing manhole locations to be located by Lansing Correctional Facility personnel. Four risers required. Provide transitional grading to existing concrete surfaces. Required at four locations. Tack oil to be included on all surfaces to be paved. Any mobilization cost to be included in submitted bid. Current gravel surface on grade ready of asphalt application. Work to be completed before November 15, 2026.
