The Heritage Park Improvements Project Includes the Labor, Materials, and Equipment Necessary to Complete the Installation of a Pre-cast Concrete Restroom Building, Including Excavation of the Base and Placement of Aggregate for the Building, Installation of 4"" Lateral Pipe, 4"" Clean-outs, 1.5"" Waterline, 2"" Water Meter and Vault, Electrical Conduit, Cable, Subpanel, Junction Box, and Site Grading. Also Included is Add Alternate 1 for a Bituminous Stage Sidewalk and Gravel Drive Extension, Add Alternate 2 for a Bituminous Playground Sidewalk, Add Alternate 3 for Stage Stone Work and Add Alternate 4 for Stage Landscaping. This Project is Subject to the Pa Separations Act of 1913 and is Separated Into Two (2) Prime Contracts for General Trades, and Electrical, Which Cumulatively Include the Total Project Scope. Proposals Must Be on the Forms Furnished by the Borough Engineer. The Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Price, Made Payable to Mcdonald Borough. The Bid Envelope Must Be Clearly Marked Heritage Park Improvements Project. Mcdonald Borough Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bid Proposals or Any Portion Thereof. Attention of Bidders is Called to the Requirements Concerning the Payment of Not Less Than the Prevailing Wage and Salary Rate Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Heritage Park Improvements Project. Awarded Bidder Shall Provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the Project. Liquidated Damages Will Apply at the Rate of $500.00 Per Calendar Day. Bids May Be Held by Mcdonald Borough for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding the Contract.
