Milk Street Water Main Replacement The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the removal and replacement of approximately 1,200 linear feet of existing 8-inch unlined cast-iron water main with new 8-inch ductile iron water main on Milk Street between Gay Street and Clapboardtree Street in Westwood, MA. The project includes temporary bypass, the installation of new fire hydrants and valves, replacing service connections with new services from the new water main to the curb stop, and trench pavement. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Every request for such interpretation should be sent via email to chris.dapson@apexcos.com, and to be given consideration must be received by the close of business (4 pm) at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
