Replacement of BF 01127 shall follow the requirements of Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridor's Specifications for Bridge Construction and Highway Construction and all other specifications, codes, drawings and other requirements and as outlined in the Project Specifications. The existing BF 01127 structure shall be replaced with a 3.67 m Structural Plate Corrugated Steel Pipe (SPCSP) culvert. Where references in the Drawings are to Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridor's Standard Drawings, only the revision referenced in the Drawing shall be used. The existing bridge superstructure is to be removed entirely, to the measurements shown from the top of existing pile cap. Removals of the substructure to elevations shown in the Drawings, as to facilitate backfilling and compaction for the new construction will also be required. Range Road 185 is to be regraded to the profiles shown on the Drawings and to tie smoothly into the new bridge approaches. Closure of Range Road 185 for the duration of bridge removal and construction work will be required. The Contractor shall be responsible for erecting and maintaining the traffic accommodations and roadway closure. The work to be done under this Contract consists of supplying all materials, equipment, products, labour transportation for: 1. Traffic accommodation for bridge and roadway construction. 2. Demolition and removal of existing bridge superstructure to the extents shown on the drawings. 3. Demolition and removal of existing bridge abutments and foundations to the extents shown on the drawings. 4. Hauling and disposal of demolished materials. 5. Excavation and backfilling 6. Supply and Assembly of SPCSP culvert 7. Water management throughout construction 8. Supply and installation of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap substrate and substrate holders 9.
